Forty years of the same argument.
It started with a cake mixer.
Chamunde was founded in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, by G.S. Sabapathee, with a straightforward aim: bring proper engineering to bakery machinery.
The first machines were cake mixers for bakeries nearby. What got built after that was decided by what bakers asked for — spiral mixers, then bread slicers, then dough sheeters, then ovens. Four decades on the range covers every stage of a production line, and it grew in that order for a reason: each machine exists because somebody needed it.
The business is run today by S. Chandrasekar. Machines are designed, fabricated, assembled and tested on our own floor.

Four decades, briefly.

5,000+ machines, 6 export countries
Run by Mr. S. Chandrasekar. Still manufacturing in Kumbakonam, still building to the same brief.
Made forever.
It is on the logo because it is the specification. A machine that needs replacing in five years was not built properly the first time.
Still the same floor.
Four decades on, the machines are still designed, built and tested in Kumbakonam by the business that started with a single cake mixer.
